Permissions and privacy

What reaches us, what never does, and how you control every action. No fine print.

What passes and what does not

What you approve at sign-in. The tool's access to your Judaro account, nothing more. You can revoke it at any moment.

What reaches us. Only the requests the tool makes: which skill to load, what to look up. Your conversation stays with the AI provider you work with, and is not stored with us.

What never passes. Judaro is read-only. It does not receive, upload or store client documents, and it has no write action on your side. Case material stays in the firm's tool, under the firm's permissions. Every output leaves as a marked draft, and the signature belongs to the lawyer.

What the connector asks for

The Judaro connector exposes seven tools to your AI tool, all read-only. These are the names as you will see them on the permissions screen:

  • Discovery and loading

    Browse legal skills List legal domains Load a legal skill: browsing the domains and skills open to you, and loading the chosen skill.

  • Fetching knowledge

    Get a playbook Get a knowledge document Get a reference document: reading a playbook, a knowledge document or a reference document from the domain.

  • Files

    Get a file download link: getting a download link for a supporting file, such as a document template.

There is no write tool. Even if you asked, Judaro has no way to change anything on your side.

Managing permissions in Claude

Claude's default for a new connector is Needs approval: before a tool runs for the first time, an approval request pops up inside the chat. There you choose whether to approve once or grant it standing permission, and the decision is remembered.

For proper management go to Customize then Connectors, and click Judaro. The Tool permissions screen opens, with a three-state control for every tool:

  1. Always allow: the tool runs without asking. A good fit for Judaro's tools, which are all read-only.

  2. Needs approval: the default. Claude stops and asks for approval in the chat before using it.

  3. Blocked: the tool is blocked. The row grays out and Claude will not use it at all.

You can set a state for the whole group at once, with the control next to the Read-only tools heading, or tool by tool. When different tools carry different states, the group is marked Custom.

In the other tools

In ChatGPT the approval is given when installing the plugin, and actions are confirmed in the chat as needed. In Gemini the account-linking screen details the permissions before you approve, and control stays in the Connected apps screen.

Full disconnect, any time: in Claude under claude.ai/settings/connectors, in ChatGPT under chatgpt.com/plugins, in Gemini under gemini.google.com/apps. Disconnecting is immediate and deletes nothing on your side.
